Crumlin Flower Club held their annual charity evening at the College in March.

A spectacular demonstration was given by James Burnside one of the very talented flower arrangers who is a teacher, judge, speaker and demonstrator. James created several stunning displays and arrangements which were then raffled much to the delight of the audience.

The Chairperson of the club Mrs Liz Williamson welcomed everybody to the evening and in particular Jean Bruce (N.I.G.F.A.S Chairperson) and Liz Manning (1st Vice Chairman)

A cheque for £1000 was presented to Ann Hannon, fund raiser for Marie Curie. Ann gave a short informative talk on the valuable hard work done by Marie Curie in our community and thanked the audience for their generosity.

Light refreshments were served by members of the Club who provided tray bakes. Tesco Crumlin also provided sponsorship for the event.

In her closing remarks the Chairperson thanked Mrs McGarry, Staff and Caretakers who so willingly gave their help. She also thanked the audience for their support.
