Open Night

The atmosphere in Crumlin Integrated College was electric on Tuesday 16th January as, despite the inclement weather, parents and pupils from over 14 different schools packed the College’s Assembly Hall. During her address, Mrs McGarry took the opportunity to inform the audience the why children would love CIC:

  • The tremendous GCSE results – 86% pupils achieving 5, or more, A*-C grades in August 2017
  • A massive increase in enrolment – up by 30%
  • Focused 1-2-1 support available to pupils
  • The College’s convenient placement in the centre of the village meaning that children do not have to spend long periods of time travelling to and from school on buses.

Later, everyone was given the opportunity to participate in a range of interactive classroom displays and talk to the staff and pupils as well as indulging in the culinary delights on offer in the Home Economics department. Members from the CSIE (Crumlin Supports Integrated Education) parents’ group were on hand to provide support and guidance to prospective parents. Parents were particularly impressed with the optimization of learning in the classroom and the provision in the College for pupils with SEN.

We would like thank everyone who took the time to visit and, in particular, for their interest in and support for the College
