To celebrate Integration month, CIC pupils engaged in a workshop presented by Integrated AlumNI. Three past pupils of integrated schools and supporters of Integrated education planned and delivered a customised workshop to our year 9, 10 and 11 pupils.

The AlumNI students reflected on what is gained from an integrated education and how it has benefited and prepared them for the world of work and in their social lives.

Our pupils were encouraged to express their views and to give a sense of their hopes and aspirations for the future.

The role of the AlumNI is to encourage pupils to do the best they can and to work to the best of their abilities, as this will be of great benefit to them in the future.

Pupils reported that they found the event extremely useful and a valuable opportunity to talk over issues with each other and the individual AlumNI members. In all, a very positive experience for both pupils and staff.
